Job Description

Experience in designing solutions for multiple large data warehouses with a good understanding architecture.

Perform deep technical analysis by reverse engineering exiting business logic embedded in Unix / Perl / Data Stage jobs.

Any exposure to Custom DataStage Component development, parallel routines and GCP basics would be a good to have skill set as well.

Good experience on building DataStage job with complex files (Complex Flat Files & EBCDIC files generated from Mainframe) and also good experience in building / maintaining templated jobs with a good exposure to OSH Schema files.

Work as ETL SME to understand and drive analytical/business requirements

Prepare detailed ETL design.

Skilled at applying ETL principles and practices, and be able to implement complex solutions to problems at an enterprise level

Prepare and validate end to end business logic and mappings.

Develop ETL jobs, prepare unit test cases, test data and perform unit testing

Code review with Data Integration SME.

Knowledge of data modeling, database design, and the data warehousing ecosystem.

Prepare detailed design, architecture, mapping sheet and other ETL documents

Data Stage code roll and deployment

Resolve all technical issues raised during SIT/UAT/ Warranty phases

Prepare root cause corrective action document for the ETL issues
