Job Description

?    Implement approved framework, templates and appropriate methodologies for Research and Development activities.

?    Provide support in area studies to identify profitable ventures, new materials/equipment to meet emerging needs/operations.

 

?    Collate data/information for cost evaluation on new products and procedure technologies for modification and competitiveness.

 

?    Provide support in cost/benefit analysis and productivity studies for long and short-term research and developmental projects on operations.

 

?    Collate data/information for the review of operating and maintenance manuals, operational procedures, etc.

 

?    Liaise with respective Directorates/Departments and provide support in conducting various organizational/operational studies to improve on operations and programmes.

?    Maintain a professional relationship with Research Institutions, Statistical Service and other key stakeholders relevant to the Department to facilitate/enhance the operations of the Research and Development function.

 

?    Stay abreast with new/emerging developments and international best practices in Research & Development practices.

 

?    Update data/information to facilitate Research and Development operations/activities.

 

?    Prepare periodic reports related to job function.

 

?    Perform any other duty(s) related to job function.

 

?    Perform any other duty(s) assigned by a Superior Officer.
