Coco Ocean Resort & Spa Hotel is seeking a friendly, reliable, and highly organized individual to join our team as a Receptionist/Waiter/Waitress. In this hybrid role, you will be the first point of contact for guests, greeting them with a warm smile and ensuring a positive experience from start to finish. You will also provide outstanding service by taking orders, serving food and drinks, and ensuring that every guest feels welcome and valued.
 
Responsibilities:
 
Greet guests upon arrival, assist with check-ins, and escort them to their tables.
Answer phone calls, manage reservations, and respond to customer inquiries about the hotel’s services, restaurant offerings, and other guest services.
Maintain an organized and welcoming reception area, ensuring that it’s always clean and well-presented.
Ensure proper table allocation and handle seating arrangements in a timely manner.
Provide information about the hotel, restaurant specials, promotions, and events.
Address guest concerns or complaints promptly and professionally to ensure satisfaction.
 
Duties:
 
Take accurate food and drink orders from guests and communicate them to the kitchen staff.
Serve food and beverages efficiently, ensuring a high standard of presentation and customer satisfaction.
Monitor tables, refill drinks, clear plates, and provide additional services as required.
Upsell menu items, beverages, and specials to increase sales.
Maintain cleanliness of the dining area, including clearing tables, arranging seating, and resetting tables.
Process payments, handle transactions, and provide accurate change.
 
Requirements:
 
Previous experience in hospitality as a receptionist, waiter, or waitress is preferred.
Excellent communication skills with a strong customer service focus.
A positive, friendly, and professional attitude at all times.
Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and carry trays or plates.
Basic maths for handling payments and transactions.
