Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role located in Tripoli, Libya, for a Chemical Technician specializing in engine oils. The Chemical Technician will perform daily laboratory testing, analyze samples for quality assurance, and ensure compliance with industry standards. Responsibilities also include maintaining Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), collaborating with the quality control team, and assisting with process improvements in engine oil production.

Qualifications

• Conducting chemical and physical analyses of oils, raw materials, and finished products.

• Measuring and evaluating oil properties such as viscosity, flash point, and TBN (Total Barrier Alkali Index).

• Monitoring product quality through laboratory analyses and recording results.

• Contributing to the development and improvement of oil formulations.

• Working in accordance with laboratory instructions and quality control (QC) systems.
