Program Overview

The Africa Finance Program (AFP) is a 12-month structured learning and development journey designed to build a strong finance talent pipeline across Africa. It accelerates readiness through cohort onboarding, rotations, finance exposure, and a final job stint.

Program Structure

·       Phase 1: Corporate Onboarding – Cohort-based introduction to Olam Agri and its operations.

·       Phase 2: BU / Country Rotations – Cross-country and business unit exposure in pairs.

·       Phase 3: Finance Exposure – Deep dive into reporting, treasury, compliance, risk, FP&A, SAP and digital finance.

·       Phase 4: Job Stint – On-the-job execution, project delivery, and final review.

Eligibility Requirements

·       Master’s degree in Finance or equivalent

·       Professional certification (ACCA, CFA, ICAN, FMVA, DFCE or equivalent)

·       3–5 years of finance-related experience

·       English required; additional languages may apply

·       Willingness to work across Africa, including remote locations

Skills Required

·       Core finance knowledge (accounting, audit, finance)

·       Strong analytical and numerical skills

·       Proficiency in SAP, Power BI, and Excel

·       Strong communication and collaboration skills

·       Adaptability to diverse environments

·       Ownership mindset
