Job Description

  • Organises and prepares technical team meetings reminds, updates and notifies technical team members of upcoming appointments.
  • Prepares and organises information materials for the technical team manages incoming and outgoing correspondence (telephone, post, fax, email), prioritises and organises it communicates with project partners.
  • Prepares documents as needed.
  • Supports travel management for technical team members.
  • Coordinates and monitors schedule and ensures agreed blocks of time are kept clear for planned events relating to the GIZ office.
  • Supporting new staff in familiarizing with the work of the technical team.
  • regularly prepares a list of events and updates technical team accordingly
  • liaise with project Communication Officer in preparations for events prepared by the technical team.
  • Assists in creating and maintaining a filing system for the technical team, treats information confidentially, specifically in the areas of personnel, contracting, and finance
  • Updates the filing system daily with incoming and outgoing correspondence
  • helps with contracting and procurement processes.
