Job Description
- Oversee plantation valuations, insurance renewals & quotes. Co-ordinate plantation insurance claims & salvage.
- Deal with land issues, including water licences, planting permits and municipal rates & land claims, in conjunction with the Co-op.
- Assist foresters with requests pertaining to FSC certification, such as aerial photos and maps.
- Complete feasibility studies for potential management schemes.
- Submission of plantation information to FES (annually).
- Co-ordinate the standardisation of fire, conservation and road plans for TF. This includes the setting of a minimum standard.
- Co-ordinate strategic harvesting plans, especially for the sustainable farms. Also assist with strategic road and depot plans resulting from the harvesting plan. This should be done according to a set standard.
