- Developing and putting in place economic control systems and approaches according with authorities rules, and expert accounting standards.
- Ensuring education of annual bills within the statutory closing date in accordance with professional accounting standards and put together quarterly reviews.
- Liaising with the office of the Auditor General for the behavior of audits and education of audit reports according with professional accounting standards.
- Ensuring training of annual budgets and departmental plans that optimizes the sources available to the monetary commitments of UTB in step with the stipulated guidelines.
- Undertaking an advisory position to each the Board of Directors and Management on the economic performance of UTB according with the authorized budgets and reporting pointers.
- Supervising the upkeep of accounting information, vouchers and other documentation, and file all economic transactions of UTB in line with financial strategies and accounting standards.
- Cross checking that each one the financial commitments and payments by using UTB are well authorized, settled in a timely way, and for fee received all, according with permitted economic approaches.
- Supervising the gathering and banking of all revenues because of UTB in accordance with the economic methods.
- Ensuring preparation of commercial enterprise plans as a way to discover and focus on the techniques to acquire monetary sustainability in step with the strategic plan.
- Preparing quarterly reports and advice Management at the economic performance of UTB according with the authorised budgets and reporting hints.
- Undertake routine assessment of cash flows wishes and recommend on capability funding of surplus funds.
