Facilitate the assessment of key constraints of the targeted value chains and identify solutions to improve access to inputs, productivity, post-harvest handling and processing, and end-market linkages for smallholder farmers.
Develop the capacity of producers, processers, and other value chain actors in targeted value chains, and facilitate capacity building plans and access to training services.
Facilitate the development of inclusive supply chains linking producers to value added markets.
Engage with government stakeholders and relevant private sector actors in developing strong public/private partnerships to ensure development of an integrated public/private environment.
Address priorities for the integration of nutrition into agriculture and value-chain activities.
Provide technical assistance and monitoring for nutrition-sensitive agricultural activities and services where and as appropriate.
Represent ACDI/VOCA interests during meetings related to agriculture and other subjects with USAID Mission personnel, host-country government officials, international organizations, local and international NGOs, international donors, and others interested in ACDI/VOCA activities.
Coordinate with relevant staff in regional offices as needed. Requirements.
