Job Description
- Participate in the project design process, including collecting of information and proposal writing.
- Oversee planning and implementation of project activities.
- Coordinate with other sectors to ensure implementation is carried out according to agreed schedules.
- Ensure projects are done according to ARP design.
- Ensure projects are completed in approved time frame.
- Take the lead of ARP implementation and operational plan ensuring WVSs meet community-identified needs.
- Promote integration project integration within ARP geographical scope and at activity level.
- Participate in local inter agency forums such as humanitarian forums and other coordination meetings.
- Supervise, appraise and identify staff training needs.
- Provide leadership and daily management to administrative and finance staff members to support the effective, accountable functioning of the ARP sub-office.
- Conduct relevant trainings and capacity Building for staff and community members related to the critical path process through community development Approach and participatory mechanism.
- Assist Project Manager and district teams to plan, implement, monitor and evaluate approved activities as per project design.
- Compile and submit/share project progress reports; including ARP Program reports, and other statistical/technical reports.
- Participate in donor missions and visits by staff from the national office, and Government.
- Participate in periodic project reviews and reflection.
- Gather and document high quality, timely information for reporting, design, monitoring and evaluation purposes.
- Develop periodic ARP Reports in collaboration with the ARP staff and the project staff assigned to the ARP Project.
- Reporting incidents and other immediate needs that may arise.
