I believe this was something to to with laws introduced under the third Reich for complex reasons to prevent Jewish shops from putting other shops out of business through deep discounts. My heads a little foggy right now so I cant quite remember this exactly but I a pretty sure that is what this is referencing.

Finally a waist that fits!

I have a skinny 9yo and we always have issues with pants, jeans, shorts, pyjamas etc. being too big in waist. I was absolutely stunned that these actually fit him without the need to be taken in!!! But there is still plenty of stretch for bigger bellies. The shorts are a little longer than what we're used to for pyjamas - they go down almost to the knees, but the kid likes it. Although he's 9, I ordered size 8 and they fit great. Will get another set!
