Vintage Weller Rose Basket PlanterWeller Pottery basket in the Flemish pattern from 1913 1920. Flemish, a line of pottery designed by Rudolph Lorber and introduced in the mid teens, features naturalistic forms and woodland motifs in earth toned shades. This Weller Flemish basket features three deeply molded roses set against a basketweave texture with braided handles. This basket is not marked on the bottom with a Weller mark. No chips or repairs. My dog is obsessed with these toys! We jokingly say that he’s a “doggie alcoholic” because he seems to not destroy any toys like this. They’re very soft and each of them has a squeaker! He’s a German Shepherd so they’re a little on the small side, but he loves them none-the-less! Wouldn’t recommend for tough chewers if you’re looking for something that lasts, but they’re cute and fun either way! Love the fact that they’re made by a small business as well. Will have to update with a picture in a bit!
