WWII U.S. McCord Fixed Loop M-1 Helmet Shell (1941-42)Description This is an original WWII U. S. front seam fixed loop M 1 helmet shell. It was manufactured by McCord Radiator & Manufacturing Co. of Detroit, Michigan and exhibits a lot number of "61B", approximately dating its production from mid 1941 to early 1942. The helmet retains an original olive drab field repaint, cork texture, and OD#3 (khaki) chinstraps with a cast brass buckle carried over from the M1917A1 and a particularly short J hook side
