18ct Gold Victorian Coral and Pearl RingAn unusual coral and pearl ring dating to the Victorian era c. 1840 1850. The ring looks like a smiling mouth complete with teeth. The closed back Ring is set with a row of calibre cut corals with a pearl halo. Tests as 18ct with a worn 18ct stamp. UK size P US size 7 1 2 4. 7g 8mm wide at the front which tapers to 2mm wide at the reverse. Nice clean condition. One pearl has a small chip and some have age related wear. Finally figured out how to wear this vest. There are two sides to the vest. When I put it on upside down, it fits much better and is comfortable. I bought the 10lb vest and although it feels heavy when you pick it up, its very comfortable when wearing it. If I put it on right side up it does not fit across my chest. But turned around it fits great and I am able to buckle it closed. I definately stand up straighter when wearing this vest and easy to walk around it. Although, as the weather gets hotter, it is a bit warm to wear.
